About The Kenilworth Situated in the cosmopolitan suburb of Jesmond, the Kenilworth Hotel is a well-established smaller hotel, perfectly placed for both the business and leisure visitor. As a family- run business, the hotel retains a friendly, caring atmosphere, whilst the newly refurbished bedrooms provide an air of luxury usually associated with much larger establishments. For the business traveller, the Hotel is conveniently situated directly off the A1, 5 minutes from Newcastle City Centre and only 15 minutes from Newcastle International Airport. Those visiting the area for a mini-break or longer stay will find numerous attractions nearby. We are located close to the shopping centres of Newcastle and the Metrocentre. The city’s historic attractions and the beautiful Northumbrian countryside are also within easy access, whilst the famous Newcastle nightlife is within close reach of the hotel. The Kenilworth Hotel was established in 1990 and since then has built up an excellent reputation for its comfort and quality of service. All 11 of the luxury bedrooms have en-suite facilities, together with remote control colour TVs with satellite, direct dial telephones, DVD players, Wi-Fi and Internet connection, hairdryers and complimentary beverage trays. The hotel encompasses El Castaño Tapas Bar and Restaurant, a lively setting for a meal with a difference and ideal place to relax with a drink. The restaurant offers a full and extensive range of authentic Spanish dishes as well as a Happy Hour special menu served daily between 5pm and 7pm.
