The Ivy House is a listed Grade II Georgian residence overlooking the famous Marlborough High Street. The house, as seen today, was built in 1707 for the Earl of Aylesbury and was established as Marlborough Academy, a school for boys. The main building encloses a cobbled courtyard leading to the rear sun terrace and residents car park.

The public areas in the main building include the reception and front lounge and the Marlborough suite. Beyond is the Churchill Room leading to the Scotts Restaurant and the residential bar.

The interiors contain many architectural and decorative features which
reflect its 300 year age.
