| Set on an ancient moated site at the foot of the Yorkshire Wolds, this large Victorian farmhouse has big, comfortable bedrooms with uninterrupted panoramic views. The residents lounge has an open fire and guests are assured of a warm welcome and huge breakfasts.
Very peaceful and quiet, the house has its own private fishing lake with large carp.  Riding: The centre of a livery yard, visitors can bring their own horses and expect the highest standards of care.  Walking: Visitors can bring their own dogs and the lovely surrounding countryside is fabulous for both walking with dogs and riding. LOCATION From York at the A64 Murton roundabout, take the turn off for Bridlington (A166), follow this road through Stamford Bridge remaining on theBridlington Road for a further 5 miles. At the foot of Garrowby Hill take the right hand turn sign posted Bishop Wilton, on entering the village at the village green turn right and follow the road for 1 mile until you pass a bungalow on the left, at the next junction 50m further on you will see the sign for HIGH BELTHORPE B&B. From the East at Driffield take the York Road (A166) and follow it through Fridaythorpe. After 4 miles you will come to Garrowby Hill, drive down almost to the bottom and take the right turn sign posted Bishop Wilton, on entering the village at the village green turn right and follow the road for 1 mile until you pass a bungalow on the left, at the next junction 50m further on you will see the Sign for HIGH BELTHORPE B&B. |
