Skipton is an ideal base to tour the Dales and visit the surrounding towns of Harrogate, Leeds, Ilkley and York.  Places of interest within easy driving distance include Malham Cove, Bolton Abbey, Aysgarth Falls, Stup Cross Caverns, and the Royal Armouries in Leeds.
