Henry's is situated on the outskirts of Stockport town centre and is ideally situated for easy access to the motorway (M60), Stockport railway station and the Trafford Centre. It only takes a 20 minute drive to Manchester Airport and a 30 minute drive to many country parks and the start of the Peak District. The main bus route also stops right outside the door, providing easy access to Manchester, Stockport, Manchester Airport, Trafford Centre etc. Our accommodation comprises of one family room, three double rooms, three twin rooms and three single rooms, all with good sized en-suite shower rooms. A baby's cot is available at no extra charge in the family or double rooms. Every bedroom is individually decorated and furnished to a high standard, are extremely spacious and comfortable, are centrally heated, and have remote control colour televisions, hairdryers, alarm clocks and tea and coffee making facilities. DINING ROOM Breakfast is served in our dining room from 7.00 am to 8.00 am weekdays and 9.30 am to 10.30 am weekends and Bank Holidays. A high chair is available. Unfortunately, we do not cater for evening meals but can recommend several good restaurants, all within walking distance of Henry's. However, food may be brought back but we would ask, where possible, that this is consumed within our dining area, where ther is also a microwave for your convenience. Alternatively, if eating in your room, please take care with soft furnishings when consuming foods which may stain. CAR PARKING There is free car parking to the rear of Henry's, which is securely locked at night and covered by CCTV. Please ensure than no valuables are left in your vehicle on view and that your vehicle is securely locked, and if available, alarmed. Better safe than sorry! Cars are parked at owners' own risk. PETS Well behaved pets are accepted but they must not be allowed on the beds or in the dining room. NO SMOKING POLICY For the comfort of the majority of our guests, we have a strict no-smoking policy throughout the building and have been awarded the Roy Castle Silver Award for clean air. We would respectfully suggest that if you feel you cannot adhere to this policy, that you obtain alternative accommodation. Anyone found to be smoking within the guest house will be asked to leave immediately and no refund will be given. RESERVATIONS Rooms cannot be reserved unless guaranteed with a current credit/debit card (credit/debit cards expiring before the date of your reservation will not be accepted). The credit card will not be debited unless you fail to arrive and will be used as security against damage or loss to your room during your stay. In certain circumstances a deposit may be required. Please note that we do not accept all female or all male group bookings or young adults under the age of 21 travelling alone. Proof of identity may also be required. Cancellations will only be accepted up until twenty four hours before you are due to arrive. Any cancellation made within twenty four hours of your expected arrival will be subject to a fee of £15.00 per room. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE You can check in any time after 3.30 pm or earlier by prior arrangement. Please note that we cannot facilitate arrivals prior to 1.00 pm and should you require your room before this time we would suggest that you reserve the room for the night before your arrival. You are required to check out by 10.00 am on weekdays and 11.00 am on weekends. The latest time for checking in is 10.30 pm and we do not take bookings or let rooms after this time. PAYMENT If your accommodation was not paid for upon booking, payment is on arrival by cash or credit/debit card. Please pay at reception when you collect your room key. Please note we do not accept American Express.
