| Welcome to Harriet House Bed & Breakfast. We are pleased to offer clean, comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation in Canterbury UK of a high standard, in a warm and friendly atmosphere.  Guests can relax and enjoy our comfortable guest lounge quietly with a book or watching T.V. or maybe joining other guests for a chat. No need to worry about driving your car into the bustling city centre as we have ample parking and are only 10 minutes riverside walk from Canterbury high street with all its attractions. |
| During the summer months why not take full advantage of our delightful garden. Tables and chairs are always there to sit out and enjoy a warm summer evening with your family, friends or other guests. There is ample parking space at the rear of Harriet House giving our guests the option of exploring the fascinating city of Canterbury on foot. A 10 minutes walk along the picturesque River Stour will bring you to the city centre with all its amenities and attractions.  For those guests who would just like to relax for the evening they can do so in the pleasant surroundings of our garden. On arrival all guests are given their own keys to come and go as they please. To ensure the safety of our guests Harriet House holds a full fire certificate. We believe guests have a right to a clean and healthy atmosphere and therefore have made Harriet House a non-smoking environment. We provide an excellent full English breakfast and cater when required for vegetarians. |
| Harriet Enterprise: also offer a variety of different services these include: Reflexology To add to your holiday experience we are able to offer sessions of reflexology to help you relax and unwind. Your session will be taken by a qualified reflexologist. Half hour taster sessions £12. Pictures and framing The walls of our guesthouse are adorned with pictures, silk paintings and prints, which have been framed in house. Some have been produced by local artists and many of them are for sale. Also if you have need of picture framing this service is also available. Stress Management Seminars Harriet House also runs Stress management seminars for individuals or small groups. Seminars are one day in duration and an all-inclusive price to include overnight accommodation can be arranged. Further details of all the above can be obtained on request. |
| History Harriet House began life as a private dwelling in 1928 in a much more modest form. It has seen steady development over the last century up to this present day. In 1984 the owners of Harriet House decided to give it its current guest house status starting with three guest bedrooms and extending to its present five bedrooms. The current owners John and Beryl took over the property at the end of 2002. |
| Tariff At Harriet House all our rooms are comfortably furnished and en-suite with the benefit of tea and coffee making facilities, colour TV's and hair driers. Ironing facilities are also available on request. We are pleased to welcome families to Harriet House and are able to provide a family room, cots and high chairs. We Welcome Master Card, Maestro, Visa, Visa Electron, Switch, Solo, JCB Cards. Please note all bedrooms are non-smoking. Twin Room (en-suite) £55 - £70 per room per night  At Harriet House our twin room are comfortably furnished and en-suite with the benefit of tea and coffee making facilities, colour TV's and hair driers.
