This working family farm is on the edge of the pretty hilltop village of Great Chishill, the highest point in Cambridgeshire. It is on the B1039 midway between Royston and Saffron Walden. Many footpaths in attractive countryside with wonderful sunsets. The village pub (just 5 minutes walk) serves excellent food and the natives are very friendly! We recommend reserving a table in advance. There are other good pubs and restaurants within easy driving distance. We are ideally situated for Cambridge Duxford Air Museum. High Tec. Establishments of Welcome Trust Genome Campus, Melbourn Science Park and Granta Park, Abington are nearby and Stansted Airport is 30 minutes away. Wimpole Hall and farm and Audley End House, together with the old market town of Saffron Walden are delightful places to visit. Barley Riding Stables Nuthampstead Shooting Ground Langley Park Rally School and 7 Golf Courses are all within 10 miles |
