| The Halcyon Hotel is superbly situated on the seafront just west of the Wish Tower and Sun Lounge. It overlooks the Western Lawns and the beautiful three-tiered promenade. The Winter Garden, Congress Theatre and Devonshire Park are approximately four minutes walk from the Halcyon and the town centre shops are a further five minutes. The foot of the famous Beachy Head is only ten minutes walk away.  The comfortable lounge, overlooking the sea, has colour television and a small licensed bar, open to residents and their friends, where you can relax in a friendly atmosphere. |
The hotel is centrally heated throughout. The front bedrooms overlook the sea and the majority of bedrooms have fine views across the town to the South Downs. All bedrooms have en-suite facilities, colour television with video (video library in lounge), and coffee making facilities, radio alarm clocks and hair dryers. The spacious dining room has separate tables, meals are home cooked on a varied table d'hote menu with a selected wine list. Guests have access to the hotel and their room at all times. There is ample unrestricted parking outside the hotel. The Halcyon is a small quiet hotel under the personal supervision of the resident proprietors who are there to ensure your stay is happy and enjoyable.  Reservations are from 12 noon on the day of arrival and guests are requested to vacate their rooms by 10:30am. |
