It is situated in the quiet residential area of Linthorpe, about 1½ miles from the town centre. Situated close to both the A19 and the A66, the hotel is within driving distance of the Dales and North Yorkshire Moors, also Cathedral cities of Durham and York and the historical coastal town of Whitby and just two miles from the birthplace of Captain Cook. The hotel has it's own off road private car park for the guests use. Internet access is provided free of charge.  Décor and furnishings are in keeping with the character of the building.
