| Bed and Breakfast accommodation on the outskirts of the historic city of Winchester. Greenmead Cottage is a family run Bed and Breakfast which has been awarded a Silver Award as well as four diamonds by the English Tourist Board. The house is set in an acre of beautiful gardens in which you are at liberty to relax after your journey. Accommodation Charming accommodation in well appointed rooms decorated to a high standard with a cosy atmosphere. Eygptian cotton linen with either cotton blankets or duvets are available , tea and coffee making facilities, hairdriers, and colour televisions are available in all our rooms. Breakfast: continental or full english breakfast available. Location Greenmead Cottage is located just 4 miles south of Winchester in the village of Shawford. If you are arriving by car, detailed directions will be given at time of reservation. By Train: The nearest train station is Shawford or Winchester. By Air: From London Heathrow it is approximitly one hour drive to Greenmead Cottage. Alternatively Southampton Airport is only 15mins drive.
