Our lounge has a wide range of comfortable seating with open log fire, colour television and hi-fi available. Enjoy our extensive range of music from classical, easy listening, country through to the late 80's or of course you can bring your own!
Meals are all freshly prepared to order. We offer a wide variety of breakfasts, with guests helping themselves to cereals and fruit juice. Evening meals and special diets can be catered for with prior notice.
|The market towns of Newtown, Welshpool, Knighton, Llanidloes, Shrewsbury and Hereford are all within easy reach. There are many local attractions which offer a good day out, such as Powis Castle, Montgomery Castle and the Powys Lands Museum all situated in the Welshpool area. In the Newtown area Powys Lands Museums have a Textile Museum, also on the textile theme we have the Robert Owen Museum.|
For those interested in walking we have the Kerry Ridgeway and the Offa's Dyke Centre at Knighton.
Further afield we have the Centre for Alternative Technology based at Machynlleth. There are also Slate Caverns at Blaenau Ffestiniog.
For the sporting minded we have Golf courses at Newtown, Welshpool and Llanidloes. Driving ranges at Caersws and Middletown. Pony Trekking, Quad Trekking, Clay Shooting and Fishing are all available locally. Fishing is only available via a permit. Sports/Leisure Centres can be located in Newtown, Welshpool and Llanidloes. And we are only an hours drive from the picturesque Welsh Coast.
