| Welcome to the Grasmere House riverside Hotel. This fine Victorian house, which dates back to 1896, is set amid 1.5 acres of rolling lawns and towering trees alongside the Rivers Avon and Nadder. The Hotel, which has 36 en-suite bedrooms, four in the original house and 32 in a new wing, is a favourite venue for wedding parties, conferences and those wishing to spend time taking in the delights of Salisbury and the surrounding Wiltshire countryside… |


| Accommodation All bedrooms have en-suite facilities, direct dial telephone radio and television, ironing board and hospitality tray. Four of our Double rooms are fitted with luxurious 4-poster beds, and twin rooms are all tastefully furnished. We also have a 3-bedroom family sized apartment with separate lounge and 2 bathrooms. Five rooms are discreetly arranged for the disabled guests and graded by the ETB. Facilities The conservatory restaurant, with its spectacular views over Grasmere's gardens down to the river and across the water meadows to the Cathedral, has seating for 40 diners. The 'Sarisberie' function room, adjacent to the restaurant, opens a large patio area which is ideal for wedding photographs and reception drinks. The two rooms can also be used together for large parties, dinner-dances and receptions. Drinks are served in the cocktail bar and Hotel's relaxing lounge where guests can also enjoy Grasmere's famous Wiltshire Afternoon Tea. |

| Premier Wedding Venue The Grasmere House Hotel is licensed to conduct weddings and offers a picturesque venue for receptions. Helicopters are able to land on the Hotel lawn. |

| Conferences We can accommodate up to 110 delegates in the main suite, and the River Rooms are available for smaller gatherings, receptions and private dining. The patio is ideal for breaks, barbeques and buffet lunches. There is also ample parking, and coaches are welcome by prior appointment. Places of Interest Apart from Salisbury Cathedral, Wiltshire boasts some of Britain's grandest stately homes: Wilton House, Longleat, Broadlands, Avebury Manor and Mompesson House. Sailsbury also has a racecourse and the City boasts a wealth of shops, museums and restaurants. |
| How to Find Us Location Map Salisbury, the County town of Wiltshire and where five rivers meet. It has been a market town since the 13th century and more recently has become a centre for commerce in the area with old and new combining together. Grasmere House can be found on the (A3094) Harnham Road, next to Harnham Parish Church, on the South side of the town - just 7 minutes walk from the centre and 5 minutes from Salisbury Cathedral. |
