| Accommodation Gorse House is light and airy throughout and furnished with antiques and good paintings. The two in-house bedrooms have their own staircase. The principle bedroom has a double and single as standard is large enough to house a round Victorian table for those wanting to do some paperwork during their stay and a further single bed if required. The other is a double. Both of these bedrooms have pleasant outlooks, one over open fields and the other over the small formal garden in which guests can relax. The third twin/double room, situated off the garden, is ground floor and suitable for guests with limited mobility. With bath and walk-in shower it has the additional facilities of a fridge, microwave and sink and a small room off, with a single bed, making this a good family room. In this room we are happy to accept dogs. All bedrooms are en-suite and have tea & coffee making facilities, TV and hairdrier. A comfortable sitting room is available for guest use. Breakfast takes place round the single large dining table, which many guests say they would like to take home. We offer a wide choice of breakfast with butcher's sausages and other local produce and fruit from the garden in season. The timing is flexible, catering both for those needing to get up and away early and for those wishing to have a more leisurely start to the day. Wireless internet connection is available and there is ample, screened off-road parking. Please note that we are a no-smoking house. |
