About Us
Goldilands is a friendly, bed and breakfast, just outside Kelso in the Scottish borders, set between the Eildon Hills and the Bowmont Forest.
The River Teviot is a mile down the lane and the Roxburgh Hotel and Golf Club is 10 minutes walk away.
Accommodation is in a bungalow adjacent to our family home and may also be rented out on a self-catering basis.

 | About the bungalow
The guest accommodation is a bungalow with three bedrooms, which may be rented separately, or as a self-catering property for a party of up to seven.It is located in the Teviot valley, near the rolling Cheviot hills.

Guests may all use the lounge, which is combined with the dining area. When rented for self catering, full use of the modern, well-equipped kitchen, including cooker, fridge and dishwasher, is included.

 | There are two twin bedrooms and and one double bedroom. Each has an en-suite bathroom with shower cubicle.
All bedding, towels and miscellaneous consmuables, e.g toilet rolls, dishwasher powder, condiments, are provided.

The lounge offers space to sit and relax or play board games.
The two wall paintings of local scenes in Kelso are a much-admired feature.

 | Guests are also recommended to make themselves comfortable in the beautiful, large garden which gives open views over the magnificent Eildon Hills. Whilst the garden affords excellent views all day, you should especially, sit in the summer house and watch the beautiful sunset.You can do inspiring, but not too difficult, walks directly from the property.

We are located 2 miles from Kelso, a most picturesque town with much excellent architecture, nestling in peaceful countryside, between the Eildon Hills and Bowmont Forest.
The Roxburgh Hotel & Golf Club is 10 minutes walk away.
Our location is central and convenient for touring, walking, golf, fishing and numerous other activities which are available in the area.
There are many beautiful walking trails by the river and along former railway routes.
