    | Glenferness: situated in the medieval village of Robertsbridge, within the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the heart of the countryside and yet only 12 miles from the sea, is the ideal location for visiting historic castles, houses, gardens and places of interest in Sussex and Kent. Glenferness, a comfortable and spacious late Victorian country house with a lovely original conservatory, was built with comfort in mind. Robertsbridge is the starting and finishing point for several interesting country walks and cycle routes. How to Find Us: Robertsbridge is just off the A21, four miles north of Battle. From the village High Street turn west (at the butcher's shop) along Station Road. After the railway crossing the road name changes to Brightling Road.
