Gattaway Farm

We look forward to welcoming you to our Georgian/Victorian Farmhouse, set amongst 600 acres of farmland with wonderful views over Strathearn and Perthshire. We have 650 sheep and 80 suckler cows. With lambing around Easter there are lots of opportunities to help feed any pet lambs.

In the house all rooms are en-suite with either shower or bath/shower. 2 double bedrooms have king size beds and the 3rd room is a twin with single beds . All beds have electric blankets and tea/coffee facilities are provided. The twin room is downstairs and is equipped to cater for disabled people (category 1). Unassisted wheelchair access for residents). This room also has its own log stove. We have central heating throughout and a lovely big fire in the Lounge where you can relax and plan the next days activities or simply just watch Television/Satellite.

Dinner is available on request which is 3 courses and includes a free glass (or 2) of wine and of course Coffee or Tea. We use locally reared meat, fish and game when in season. Most vegetables and soft fruit come from our Victorian walled garden. All meals are freshly prepared to a high standard and are recommended. Dinner and Breakfast are taken in the large, cosy kitchen.

Nearby are plenty of Golf Courses including Gleneagles and St. Andrews, cycling/mountain biking are available on the farm and forestry trails are close by.

Fishing and hill walking are also within easy reach, as are Ski Slopes in the winter.
