Josie & Ken would like to welcome you to their warm, friendly home. Conveniently located in quiet Hatfield Garden Village. We are in easy walking distance of Hatfield Business Park, The Galleria and Hatfield University. Hatfield House is approx. 1 mile away, as is Hatfield Railway station, with trains taking you to Kings Cross in just 20 minutes. Local buses (to the station) are just a short walk away from our door. Close by are Welwyn Garden City - 2 miles away, and St.Albans - 5 miles away. Luton airport is approx. 10 miles. The A1M and A414 are within 1 mile, giving access to the M25 and other motorway networks.
We can offer a single en-suite room, 1 twin room and 2 single rooms. All rooms have Cable or freeview TV/DVD/free wireless internet access and tea and coffee making facilities. Full English/continental breakfast available. We are in walking distance to several restaurants and pubs, which all do food. We are a "no smoking" house. Free easy parking on the road outside. | About Us We provide comfortable accommodation in our twin and single rooms. All rooms have either Cable or freeview TV/DVD and free wireless internet access. Tea and coffee making tray is also provided. We have full central heating throughout, with electric fans for the warmer months.
The single en-suite room has a shower, hand basin and WC. The twin and single rooms have the use of a luxury bathroom with a shower cubicle. It has heated towel rail and under floor heating and a shaving point. Toiletries provided in both bathrooms include shampoo, conditioner, and soaps and shower gel all for your convenience. All rooms have the use of their own fresh towels and dressing gowns are in rooms that use the shared bathroom. Hair dryers provided. If you forget your reading book, we have some of those too. All rooms are cleaned daily. Price includes a choice of full English or continental breakfast. We have a secluded rear garden, which guests can relax in on those warm summer evenings. |

St.Albans also has a large selection of shops, and a twice weekly market. For history lovers - Hatfield House - the childhood home of Queen Elizabeth I, is well worth a visit. For the golf enthusiasts there are 3 golf courses within easy reach. For a variety of sports facilities, we have Birchwood Leisure Centre, Hatfield Swim Centre and the University Sports Village, all within 1 mile. Nearby is Gosling Sports Park and Stanborough Water Sports Centre.
