    | We are located in a quiet private road just a short distance from the centre of Peaslake village with its church, general store and inn. Free WIFI internet access is available if required. The village of Peaslake is conveniently situated in the heart of the picturesque Surrey Hills yet only 8 miles from the centre of Guildford with its extensive shopping, leisure and cultural facilities. We are also within easy reach of both Heathrow and Gatwick airports, the M25 and central London. Trains from nearby Gomshall station connect with both Guildford and Dorking from which there are frequent and fast services into London making a day's sightseeing a possibility whilst based in the tranquillity of a rural village. The beautiful tree clad hills of Surrey are perfect for walking, riding or cycling and are a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty offering some of the best scenery in the country. Peaslake is also ideally situated as a base for exploring further afield. The country town of Dorking, a well known 'antiques' centre is close by and the area offers a number of interesting places to visit whatever the weather. These include several important National Trust properties, landscape gardens and of course the Royal Horticultural Gardens at Wisley. A relatively short drive can include the counties of Kent , Sussex, Hampshire whilst even the south coast is only just over an hour away. Located in a detached ground floor annexe close to the house, our accommodation comprises a double bedroom with en-suite shower and WC. plus a breakfast room overlooking a secluded garden. Guests have full tea and coffee making facilities. There are also TV and radio sets. The beautifully appointed bedroom has ample storage space while the entire accommodation is heated and insulated to provide maximum comfort and relaxation. Our breakfast arrangements are based on a comprehensive 'continental' style for you to 'self-serve' at a time of your choice from ingredients provided in the room. These include fruit juice, yoghurt, fruit, a selection of cereals, cake, and bread for toast, together with a selection of preserves. We shall be delighted to bring warm croissants and freshly brewed coffee to the room at a time of your choice or you may of course choose to breakfast in total privacy. A toaster, microwave and refrigerator are supplied in the breakfast/sitting area and the breakfast bar overlooks the garden. |
