| Falcons Crest | Falcon Crest is our three floor Victorian family home located in a residential area of North Edinburgh, midway between the Royal Botanical Gardens and the River Forth. We are a strictly non-smoking establishment. We are a 10 minute drive from the city centre and are well served by buses. Or, for the more energetic, it takes 30 minutes to walk the 1.5 miles uphill into town where Waverly train station can be found, but only 20 minutes going back. It is 8 miles to Edinburgh Airport. |
| Information | Our Breakfast room is on the ground floor. Special diets and early breakfasts can be catered for by prior arrangement. Unfortunately we have no guest rooms on the ground floor and so cannot cater for those who find stairs difficult. On the first floor we have - an en-suite twin room - a double room capable of sleeping up to 3 people (with a Z-bed) - that has a private bathroom but no en-suite facilities Our second floor has - two en-suite double rooms (with Velux windows) - a single room and a twin room which share a bathroom but have en-suite wash hand basins All our rooms are complete with tea/ coffee making facilities, an electric shaver point and a colour television. All bathrooms have a WC, shower, bath and wash-hand basin. A payphone is available on the ground floor and ironing facilities are available upon request, as well as a hair dryer. Children are welcome, as are pets by arrangement. A cot and highchair can be provided for infants. Limited private parking and free on-street parking is available. |
