Fairwinds is a modern bungalow located in a quiet sitauted on the B8083 just a few minutes walk from Broadford. It's elevated position has spectacular views over rivers and mountains. Fairwinds has been awarded a "Four Star" rating by the tourist board. The accommodation consists of one twin and two double rooms all with en-suite facilities. Tea and Coffee making facilities, Hairdryers, radio, central heating television in each room. Prices are from £20.00 - £22.00 per person per night. A full Scottish breakfast is included. Fairwinds has private parking and a large garden. There is a guest lounge with colour television, video and local tourist information, including local restaurant menus. A pay phone is available for guest's use. Packed lunches, special diets can be catered for by special arrangement. A warm welcome awaits you in our non-smoking Family home. |
| Bicycle Hire Fairwinds also has bicycles for hire. Touring, sports or Mountain bikes are available by the hour, week or day, with one free day for every full week of hire. Helmets Locks and repair kits are provided, a deposit is required when hiring. Racks suitable for carrying panniers are also available on some models. |
| Situation Fairwinds is an ideal base from which to explore the Isle of Skye it is central for day trips to Portree in the north of the island and Dunvegan to the west. Elgol and Sleat, known as the Garden of Skye are a short drive away.  Broadford contains many shops and facilities one might require such as bank, post office, bakery, supermarket, 24 hour laundrette, petrol station and several restaurants, all within easy walking distance from Fairwinds. In addition, there is plenty to see and do in and around Broadford with such attractions as the Award Winning Skye Serpentarium, World of Wood, Boat trips from Broadford Bay and various craft shops and galleries. The area is ideal for hill walking mountaineering, whale watching, cycling and otter watching. The bird life on Skye is exceptional with regular sightings of Buzzards, Eagles and the summer visitor the Hen Harrier. The pollution free atmosphere makes stargazing and unforgettable experience and the Skye sunsets are spectacular. We look forward to making your stay in Skye a memorable one. |
