 Situated on the seafront alongside the town walls and above South Beach the hotel has breathtaking views overlooking Carmarthen Bay towards the islands of Caldey and St Catherine's. Take a stroll across the road down the steps, and you're on the beach.  All rooms en-suite, with tea-making facilities, direct dial telephones, hair dryers and colour television, most with sea views. Two of our rooms have hand crafted four poster beds, and are non smoking.

Leon and Joan Downey started making cheese in 1977 and were instrumental in reviving farmhouse cheese making in Wales.
