| GAMLINGAY The village of Gamlingay lies half way between the County Town of Bedford (with its associations with John Bunyan) and The University City of Cambridge. Equidistant to the North is Huntingdon where Oliver Cromwell was educated. All are within easy reach. For those travelling by car the village is between the Great North Road (A1) and the M11 motorway. It is some 50 miles North of London and an easy distance from the airports at Stansted or Luton (40 mins) and Heathrow (60 mins) The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds H.Q. and its sanctuary is 5miles away. 4 Golf courses are within 9 miles.
