Welcome
Visiting Norwich for Business or Pleasure and wanting to stay a while? You will not better the welcome, comfort and service offered by Ray and Sue at their family run guest House.
Just 10 minutes' walk from the City centre.
A welcoming smile, friendly service, every comfort together with a wonderful breakfast, that sets you up for the day, are all provided by Ray and Sue at Edmar Lodge.
We have been engaged in the tourism business for over 20 years, providing Bed and Breakfast Accommodation. We left Cheshire a few years ago and came to Norwich and Edmar Lodge. Our commitment is to continue to build on the reputation we have acquired over the years, providing a high standard of accommodation together with a friendly service , so ensuring that our guests fully enjoy their stay with us.
We now have been Highly Commended by the AA and also received the Breakfast Award from Enjoy England sponsored by Kellogg's. This award is given to those Accommodation providers (only 7%) who provide services and facilities beyond what is required in their star rating.

Rooms
We have five very comfortable Bedrooms, each having en-suite facilities.
Rooms are fully centrally heated and glazed with double or triple glazing, with every amenity to make your stay pleasant and memorable.
Each room has remote controlled flat screen colour television with 30 digital channels. If you cannot find a suitable programme to watch, why not take advantage of our facility to play a DVD in your room and select a film from our library. Tea/coffee making facilities (with biscuits), hair dryer, trouser press, radio/clock alarm and top quality soaps and shampoos, bath/shower gel, ironing centres - all are available in every room. For business people wishing to keep in touch by computer we have wireless connection in every room. To maintain our high standard of cleanliness and comfort for all our guests Edmar Lodge is strictly a NON SMOKING Guest House( now the law throughout England). |

Facilities
Breakfast ordered from our extensive menu and served in our cosy dining room is well renowned for its quality and quantity. Our full English is a breakfast to remember and can be ordered to size required. We are happy to provide breakfast for many diets. Specialist and herbal teas are available. If you have any particular requirements not found on our normal menu please ask when booking with us. We will do our best to accommodate you.
In addition to comfortable accommodation, we provide a microwave cooker, fridge, plates and utensils for guests' use. Due to the close proximity of many eating places locally, we do not provide evening meals, but guests can bring in food to heat in the microwave or store in the fridge as required. Ice cubes are also available to cool your drinks during the hot summer evenings.
Here are some of the services we provide to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.
For those guests requiring laundry facilities there is a LAUNDERETTE not far away where you can do washing and drying. Sometime there are service washes available. |
