| A non-smoking hotel located in Chester City Centre, with parking for guests. Overlooking the Shropshire Union Canal, the Eaton Hotel offers ideally located accommodation in the heart of Chester.A secure on site car park is available for hotel residents arriving by car, whilst guests travelling by train will find the Eaton Hotel conveniently situated between the railway station and the city centre, both within 5 minutes walk.  There are bars and restaurants close to the hotel, and the many attractions of Chester are just a short stroll away - including the famous shopping rows, the 900 year old cathedral, the picturesque River Dee, and the ancient Roman walls and bridges. The Eaton Hotel is managed by myself, the proprietor, Brian Hepworth, and manager Alun Roberts. With the help of our outstanding staff, for whom nothing is too much trouble, our aim is to provide a high standard of accommodation, service and cuisine in a relaxed and friendly environment. If you are looking for city centre accommodation without the high prices of larger hotels, but with the professional, personal service that our regular visitors enjoy. | Accommodation All rooms are furnished to a high standard to ensure that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.Many rooms overlook the Shropshire Union Canal, and all rooms are well equipped, with en-suite facilities [bath or shower, with toilet and wash basin].

| Location Located close to the outskirts of Chester's pedestrianised area, the Eaton Hotel is more or less as near to the city centre as you can get with a car and offers secure parking on the premises. A short stroll will take you to most of the city's major attractions and shops, where you can enjoy a hassle free day without the worry of finding transport back to your hotel. Alternatively, a 5 minute walk away from the town will take you to Chester train station. As there is no 'left luggage' facility at the station, luggage can be left at the hotel on the morning of departure, until you are ready to collect it. |
| Directions Situated on the main road from the railway station to the city centre and close to the inner ring road, The Eaton Hotel is easy to find. If you are travelling from the train station on foot, leave by the main exit, and City Road will be directly ahead. Continue on foot for 300 metres and you will see the hotel on the right as you cross the canal. All guests arriving by car should enter the hotel from City Road [leaving your car outside of course!], and ask at the reception for directions to the car park. From the M56 and M53 motorways Leave the motorway following the signs to Chester and continue down Hoole Road [A56] until you have gone over the railway bridge. At the traffic lights, take the left lane and turn sharp left towards the station. Turn right at the railway station and the Eaton Hotel is 300 metres along the road on the right hand side as you cross the canal. Approaching Chester on the A51/A41 road Proceed towards the city centre until you meet the inner ring road at a large roundabout [traffic lights and buildings in the middle]. Take the last exit towards the railway station into City Road and the hotel is immediately on the left. From North Wales on the A55 road Leave the A55 at its junction with the A483 and turn left following signs to Chester. Continue until you have crossed the River Dee. Proceed straight on at the roundabout onto the inner ring road [through 2 sets of traffic lights], circling the city in an anti-clockwise direction. After approximately half a mile, you will be guided into a one way system which will take you to a large roundabout. Take the second exit towards the railway station onto City Road, and the hotel is immediately on the left hand side. |

We offer a choice of rates - guests can choose between bed and breakfast accommodation, with or without dinner, or room only accommodation, which is suitable for the busy executive leaving early - or those travelling on a budget. In addition, our unique pricing structure is designed to offer discounts for quieter periods. You will therefore be asked for your required dates [if you have them] before being quoted a rate by phone or by e-mail. This enables us to offer you the best possible price available at the time of your enquiry. | Terms & Conditions All cancellations must be received by the hotel at least 48 hours prior to the arrival date, or the full amount of the first night's stay will be charged. Once you have made and confirmed your reservation, the price at the time of booking will be the price you pay, even if the price has increased between the date you booked the accommodation and the date of your arrival. |
