| The Earlsmere is situated on Scarborough's famous South cliff (200 yards), in a sunny, sheltered spot only two minutes from the Esplanade and near to the spa with all its entertainments. We are a short distance from Olivers Mount, golf course, sports and shopping centre. |
| An elegant, Edwardian building set in a quiet terrace, the Earlsmere is south facing with lovely open greens to the front and views of the sea and Olivers mount. The hotel is exceptional in retaining most of its original late victorian/early Edwardian features, including the elegant staircase, stained glass windows, fireplaces, gas lamps...and much more! Already assessed by Visit Britain for 2006, The Earlsmere is proud to have been awarded 4 Stars. Bedrooms... The six en-suite bedrooms (on two floors only) all have feature fireplace, colour television, tea/coffee making facilities. All rooms are tastefully decorated with modern en-suites. |

| Dining room... We have a high reputation for good food and choice menus. All dishes are cooked and prepared by the owners using fresh meats, local fish and garden produce all bought daily. A full English breakfast is available...and much more to choose from. Evening meals are available. Vegetarian & seafood dishes are available on request. |
| Lounge... The lounge is decorated in Victorian style, with comfort a high priority. Browse through the selections of books and magazines and interesting collections of old Scarborough pictures, shells, fossils etc. |
| We have no facilities for young children and do not take children under 10 years of age. Older children are welcome, however, and may share their parents room at reduced rate. Room available from 1pm on day of arrival and guests are asked to vacate their rooms by 10.30am on the day of departure. Ample free parking directly outside the Earlsmere. |
