Dornoch Lochans:Sutherland Road. Fly Fishing, Bait Fishing, Golf Practise Range, Pitch n' Putt, Croquet.Visitor Centre: The Heritage Centre in Meadows Road is open all Summer.
History: See the spot where the last witch to be executed in Scotland, Janet Horne, was burnt in 1727 (in a garden in Carnaig Street).

Beach & Walking: Beautiful clean beach with safe sea bathing, awarded a Blue Flag for the second year running. Country path to Embo and forest walk and sculpture trail to nearby Skelbo Wood - can you spot the 10 forest creatures?
Flora & Fauna: The Dornoch Common Good Lands are rich in flora and fauna and Loch Fleet, a few miles from Dornoch is a wildlife reserve. Look for the interpretation boards at both locations.

For the Children & Swimming Baths: Swimming Pool at Grannies Healian Hame, Embo, about 3 miles from Dornoch. There are play swings at Dornoch beach and a safe play park in town.
Pipe Band: Parades in the Square most Saturday evenings at 8pm during the summer. The Cathedral Tower is usually open to the public at the same time.
