This apartment has been modernized but I have attempted to retain the features particularly in the Bedrooms and the lounge as the cornicing is very beautiful. I kept the mantle-piece in the lounge and had one reinstated in the Master Bedroom to maintain the feel of the property, for decoration only but a lovely feature in the rooms.
The bedroom and Lounge at the front of the building have two tall windows overlooking the main street so are very light during the day. Radiators in all rooms and a mantle piece with a glow fire in the lounge and Master bedroom so you will be comfortable. Inset wall cupboards provide storage in one double and single bedroom. Furnished with older pieces in keeping with the age and style of the property. Some items may have come from The Queen Mothers old lodge at Watten which I believe she owned prior to doing up The Castle of Mey… Gas and Electric, bedding etc included in holiday prices.
