Welcome to the Dean Court...in the shadow of York Minster

The award winning restaurant, D.C.H, (with Minster Views), the Reception, Bar and Lounges are warm elegant and stylish, with some outstanding contemporary design features and original art pieces. All these areas are air conditioned as is the Court Café Bistro and Bar, which opened April 2006 after a major refurbishment. The Court offers an exciting and varied menu to suit any time of the day - and all pockets! A range of seating styles, including comfy sofas, and its individual design and style offer guests true Bistro food in a unique informal atmosphere.

All bedrooms have been refurbished and offer contemporary boutique and traditional styles and themes, including several four posters. All have LCD TV's and DVD/CD players.

WI-FI is available throughout the hotel (FREE to residents).

The hotel has its own residents secure car park (small daily charge) and offers a free valet parking service.

Bedroom Number 20 (Double or Twin) for guests in wheelchairs. Fully equipped bathroom with wet room, spacious bedroom with non caster wheel bed, accessible light controls. Directly opposite lift.

Bedroom 55 (Double) for Ambulant Disabled guests. Walk in shower cubicle, spacious room just 15/20 paces from lift.In the event of fire or other emergency. Trained staff will assist all guests who will have informed the Hotel, (when booking and when registering) that they would experience difficulties in evacuating the hotel speedily.

Dining

Our innovative Head Chef is receiving the highest accolades for his imaginative cuisine and is a champion of local produce which dominates the menus in D.C.H and The Court. Few settings can rival the elegant restaurant which is renowned throughout Yorkshire for its superb food, accompanied by the finest personally selected wines.

The Court offers a truly Bistro style menu as well as light snacks, sandwiches and traditional Clotted Cream and Champagne teas. The Court is open from 9.30 am - 11 pm (last food orders 10pm) and 9.30 am - 6.3 pm Sundays.

For the comfort of all our guests the Dean Court is a totally NON-SMOKING hotel.
