Rick and Joan Wells welcome you to Dalvey, our elegant Victorian town house in the city of Perth, Scotland. Sufficiently far out of town for a very comfortable night's rest. We are only a short walk through the park to shops, theatre, and local restaurants.
Perth is a thriving small city by the River Tay in beautiful Perthshire, Scotland. With its superb parklands, Georgian terraces, and vibrant city centre. In the summer months, specialist shops and household name stores happily share well-kept streets adorned with floral displays ensuring we are often the pick of the bunch at the annual Britain in Bloom awards. Perth is situated close to the geographical heart of Scotland and with 90% of the Scottish population within ninety minutes travel; it is the ideal location as a base for touring the rest of Scotland.
Within a short drive you can reach the most beautiful Angus Glens of Isla, Clova and Povey. In around a one hour drive you can reach Glenshee, Braemar and Balmoral. All within 1 hours drive you can reach Glamis Castle, Scone Palace, Falkland Palace, Dunkeld and Blair Castle. If you like to sample the famous Scottish Whisky then we are within an hour's drive of several distilleries.
If you like shopping then why not take a day out in Perth or Dundee, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling, they are all within easy reach, you could maybe cross the River Tay and head for the historic town of St Andrews. In St Andrews you could try your hand at a game of Golf on one of the famous Links!!

Elegant Victorian comfortable town house built of stone around 1879. All rooms are spacious and well appointed with that extra special touch for your comfort.
Dalvey is situated on the edge of the "Fair City" of Perth with a pleasant 10 minute walk through the park to the city.
Breakfast
A traditional breakfast is a must but should you prefer something of your own choice we are only happy to oblige. e.g. scrambled and smoked salmon, poached eggs, vegetarian dishes. |

Perth offers golf, a good swimming pool and Leisure Facilities, fishing, forest walks, sports amenities, Theatres, concert hall, Museum and Art Gallery, library, gardens to walk in, country fayres and many select shops.
There is also a local off-road driving experience called the Highland OffRoad.
Perth also has a Local Tourist Board, which can give you any information you need on Perth and the local area.

Find Us
From the South follow the ring road to Inverness to the "Inveralmond Roundabout" at the North end of Perth. Head into Perth down the "Motor Mile" and after 1 mile Dalvey is on the left opposite the Royal Bank of Scotland.
