Customs House is a 19th century listed building overlooking the harbour in the highland village of Helmsdale, Sutherland. Ann Mac Donald will be delighted to offer you Bed and Breakfast for any length of stay.

Helmsdale is an ideal stopping off spot on the way to John-O-Groats or the Orkney Islands although there is plenty to see and do locally for those who want to stay a little longer.

Why not pan for gold at the nearby Strath of Kildonnan - who knows you may find a fortune!

Try some fishing - Sea Angling can be arranged from Helmsdale harbour.

Golf can be arranged locally with courses such as Brora, Golspie and Royal Dornoch only a short drive away-if required, golf clubs are available from Ann.

Hillwalkers, you will be delighted with the choice of local beauty spots to investigate-why not try to catch a glimpse of deer on the nearby hillsides.

Mountain Bikes can also be provided.

Investigate the fascinating local archeological sites such as brochs, chambered tombs, cairns and souterrains.

A visit to nearby Loch Fleet is a must for ornithologists .

Each morning, Ann will set you up for the day ahead with a full Scottish breakfast.
