WELCOME!We are a fine Old Victorian Country House, full of charm and character, giving the best of both worlds! Being only 3miles to the North of the Cathederal City - Exeter, yet situated in the heart of the countryside in the Exe Valley on the edge of the village - Stoke Canon.

We offer Bed & Breakfast accommodation in our Family Home. The accommodation is very spacious and comfortable; all rooms have a colour television with freeview boxes, tea/coffee trays, alarm/clock radio and hair dryers. We have 1 en-suite room and 3 rooms which share the bathroom. The rooms that aren't en-suite have a wash hand basin with H&C and razor points. The house is fully centrally heated throughout.

There is ample free off-road parking, therefore making us an ideal touring base for visits to Dartmoor, Exmoor, the North & South Coasts as well as the Exeter University Campus, which is only 3 miles away.

Exeter, the Regional Capital of the South West, is a colourful, cosmopolitan City. Surrounded by countryside, just a few miles from the sea. Come to Exeter for its' Heritage, Shopping, Arts & Culture, Activities and Touring.While staying at "Culm Vale" why not visit the National Trust Property ~ Killerton House with its' stunning Gardens with shrubs, rare trees and woodlands which boast a Bronze Age hill fort site.

Culm Vale Country House, 15K

If you are travelling down the M5 from Bristol, come off at junction 27 (Tiverton Exit) go towards Tiverton until you see a sign "Bickleigh A396" follow these signs. Follow the main round passed Bickleigh (over a very narrow bridge) then on through Rewe, getting to Stoke Canon, go through the village, over a long narrowish bridge, once over the bridge, stay on the main road as it bends right, when the road straightens up, turn left into our large white entrance.

If you are travelling to Exeter on the A30 from either Cornwall or Honiton, come off at Exeter, follow the signs for the City Centre, when you get to the centre, you will see signs for "Tiverton A396" follow these signs. When you get to the Cowley bridge roundabout (the 1 after the Clock tower roundabout) go straight across and travel for 2 miles. There will not be a house in sight until you get to the village of stoke Canon. 100m (5th property) on the right is our large white entrance - "Culm Vale"
