Built over 100 years ago using locally quarried granite stone, Culdearn House exudes a special atmosphere that brings guests from all over Scotland and further afield back time and time again.

Traditional features such as original wood paneling, fine moulded ceilings and marble fireplaces, blend agreeably with modern standards of comfort to give guests at the hotel a memorable stay in this beautiful part of Scotland.

Grantown-on-Spey, the capital of Strathspey, was founded in the 18th Century, and nestles in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. It is an all year round centre. In addition to the obvious attractions of the area in spring and summer, there is excellent skiing and climbing in the Cairngorms in winter, and autumn is particularly beautiful with the heather and the autumnal colours in the trees and bracken, making Strathspey an ideal choice of venue for a short autumn break.Grantown is within easy reach of the West Highlands, Skye, Inverness, Loch Ness, Culloden, and Aviemore.
