| Situated in the 'Heart of Cornwall' we are right on the ever popular coast to coast cycle trail. Passing our front door is a cycle or walking trail across the middle of Cornwall. A former mineral tramway now provides a fine rural route to Devoran and Point on the River Fal or travelling North to historic Portreath, a tiny North coast harbour hewn out of the massive cliffs. In both directions it's down hill! The crossroads is 100 metres above sea level at the top of the coast to coast train. Porthtowan Beach is only three miles away, superb for surfing, sea fishing or just plain beaching. The dramatic heather covered cliffs offer exhilarating walks and dramatic views. |
| Accommodation All 36 bedrooms are en-suite with bath and shower and include some ground floor rooms. They have tea and coffee making facilities, colour television, direct dial telephone with ISDN modem link.  |
| Larger Conference Facilities Our main Function suite is 17m by 10m and can accommodate a meeting for 150 guests or a banquet for 120 guests. It has a full sound system and maple wood dance floor and is serviced by a large well stocked bar.  Our function suite is ideally suited for smaller trade shows and larger public meetings. A visual aids package can be made available to suit all requirements. |
| Board Room On the first floor is the Board Room used by many local businesses for meetings, staff training, interviews, club and society meetings. A full visual aids package can be supplied to suit your requirements. The Board Room will accommodate up to 16 persons board room style and 25+ persons theatre style. The Board Room is serviced by a passenger lift.  |
| Restaurant Our restaurants and function rooms are serviced by a modern kitchen with experienced chefs and waiting staff equally suited for orders from a single steak to a banquet for 120 people. Our non smoking restaurant offers an evening Table d'Hote menu and also an extensive A la Carte menu available to both residents and non residents.  Our well stoked Lounge Bar is open daily at lunch time and each evening. We show Sky TV on the large screen for popular sporting events. Delicious bar snacks and crisp chilled salads are available at lunch time and in the evening. |
| Location The Crossroads is situated alongside the A30 trunk road at Scorrier (A3047 exit) signposted to Scorrier/Helston from the east and Scorrier/Blackwater from the west. This places journeys to Truro, Falmouth, Penzance and Newquay all within about twenty minutes drive. Rail Transport The Lodge is about 2 ½ miles from Redruth station and 6 miles from Truro Station. Air Travel Newquay regional airport is 16 miles away. This airport is currently served by Ryanair and Air southwest with multiple daily flights to Gatwick, Stansted and beyond. Bus Travel Just around the corner at the Fox and Hounds local busses run between Truro and Redruth every 20 minutes. The London Express Coaches stop on request. Parking The Lodge gas adequate off street level parking for any sized vehicle (approximately 150 cars) |
