Welcome

Built around 1851 this lovely Victorian property was designed as a town house but has been a hotel for many years. Now we are a Grade II listed building retaining most of the original features.

Only 100 yards from the beach and the Pier and a few minuets walk from the town centre.

Rooms

All our bedrooms are en-suite and have T.V.s plus tea & coffee making facilities. Single, twin or double rooms are available. We do not have any family rooms but can provide a single travel cot if you are travelling with a small child.

Lounge

We offer full use of our lounge where you will find a large flat screen telly with a selection of DVD films and a small library of books for your enjoyment.

Dining Room

Separate tables in a spacious room for you to enjoy a full English breakfast and evening meal. We are also licensed so you can indulge in a drink at any time.

Location

The Hotel lies just 100 yards from the seafront, yet is only a few minuets walk from the town centre. Sue and I took over in July 2007 and have really enjoyed the hospitality side of the business. We have spent the winter putting our mark on the place and have made quite a few changes especially with the décor, next year we will start on the showers. This year we hope to improve our menu and offer local sourced meats from our local butcher who has just won Sussex butcher of the year award 2007/08.
