Creston Villa Guest House is the ideal base for your stay in Lincoln. It overlooks the attractive South Common, yet is only a fifteen minute walk to the train station in the city centre. The five bed roomed, bed and breakfast accommodation has historical interest too - This beautiful Victorian house was built on the site of the medieval Priory of St Catherine's and is adjacent to the site of the first cross erected in memory of Eleanor, Queen of Edward the First, as she started her final journey to London to be laid to rest in Westminster Abbey. |
| Guest Accommodation Our styles range from Victorian elegance to the solidity and comfort of pine through to the very fashionable 'shabby chic' French style painted furniture. All rooms have attractive views that will encourage you to stop for a moment to enjoy the setting that inspired the Victorians over 140 years ago. Our bed linen is of the highest quality and reflects the grandeur of the house and its history. Our bedrooms offer twin and double accommodation with a special discounted rate in all rooms for single occupancy. All are either en-suite or have private facilities adjacent to your bedroom door. Rooms with private bathrooms and shower rooms are provided with luxurious bathrobes. We recognise that not all guests enjoy the fullness of duvets so we are pleased to offer as an alternative, sheets, blankets, and bedspreads on all double beds. Simply advise us at the time of booking and we will have your bed prepared with beautiful quilted bedspreads instead of duvets in time for your arrival. Refreshments are provided in all rooms complete with high quality biscuits and a choice of tea, coffee (including decaffeinated) and hot chocolate. Should guests prefer fresh milk, there is always a plentiful supply in the guest fridge in the kitchen. All our guest rooms are decorated and dressed to offer the highest level of comfort and consideration. In the bedrooms everything from hairdryers to toiletries is provided, and should you have a particular need, we will do our best to meet your expectations. Checking in Relax on arrival with complementary refreshments in our spacious and peaceful guest lounge where you can prepare for tomorrow's meetings or plan your day out exploring the historic city of Lincoln. This room is free of television and radio to ensure guests have a quiet haven to relax in at the end of the day. There are plenty of magazines and books to browse through. |    |
  | Refreshments Whilst of course there is a complementary tray in your bedroom, we encourage our guests to make use of the house on a 'home from home'. In the breakfast room there is always tea and coffee making facilities with orange juice, milk and bottled water in the guest fridge. Just to make it a little more like home there is always a plentiful supply of cakes and fruit and we invite you to avail yourself of these refreshments at any time of the day or night. For the comfort of all our guests, we operate a no smoking policy throughout the Guesthouse. Internet Access If you have your wireless-enabled laptop with you, then browse the internet via our 10 Mb broadband facility with our compliments. If you need to print emails or reports, then a colour printer is available to guests. Guests not travelling with a laptop can make use of our Internet Access Station in the lounge. Parking Off-street car parking is provided for all guests (height and width restrictions may apply to larger vehicles) with ample space for alighting in safety. The car park is well lit and a safe and secure place to leave the car. |
