| Welcome Welcome to The County, hotel, bar and restaurant in Chelmsford, Essex. We are a 54 bedroom town centre hotel with a difference. | Bedrooms 54 comfortably designed bedrooms. With a range of doubles, twins and singles, all with satellite TV, modem point, trouser press, direct dial telephones with complimentary tea and coffee in all rooms.

| Restaurant Clive Gathercole and his team produce an extensive 'A la Carte' menu which is available for lunch and dinner. Our style is classic British food in a modern style. Using only the best of British seasonal ingredients. Breads, scones, pasta and ice cream are all homemade. Clive goes to great length to source the best that our local and national producers have to offer taking great care each month ensuring each and every ingredient is at the height of its growing season, but always maintaining genuine value for money.

| Lounge At the midst of everything is our Lounge. Whether it is a morning coffee and croissant; afternoon tea with homemade scones; a light meal or just relaxing with friends, the comfort and choice of our lounge is all things to all. Our drinks range is not only from our excellent wine list, which has plenty of wines by the glass. But a range of Draught Real Ales, Lagers and Cider, Bottled Beers from 10 countries and premium spirits to take you from relaxing with friends to pre dinner cocktails and coffee with vintage cognac.

| Conferences The County is a popular meeting and conference venue. All meeting rooms are purpose built and have natural daylight - with six rooms available. Four on the ground floor and five with full disabled access. We can accommodate from 2 to 150 delegates on day delegate and also offer a residential 24 hour rate. Ideally situated within 5 minutes walk from Chelmsford train and bus stations and with 80 car parking spaces we are close to M25 J8, A12, A130 and A414.

| Private Parties A dinner for 2 or a party for 150; with six private rooms and a Ballroom, we can arrange private events for all occasions. Chose from our restaurant or banqueting menus and be assured that our long experience will ensure the smooth running of your party. We can also arrange entertainment from discos, casinos, laser shoots, murder mystery evening, just to name a few.

| Find The County Hotel J28 M25 motorway, A12 to town centre. Follow signs for A130 on Parkway (dual carriageway). Go under railway viaduct. Across 2 sets of traffic lights. At 2nd set, turn right in to slip road into West End. At next traffic lights turn right - you will see the hotel on your right hand side. Car park entrance is immediately to right of hotel.  |
