| A Breath of Fresh Air When we opened Cornfields Restaurant in July 1995 we wanted to create the kind of restaurant that we would like to eat in, freshly prepared food from local producers where possible, cooked to order at sensible prices in an atmosphere that would complement our food. Years on and our endeavours are still being rewarded by the enthusiast compliments we get from our customers, existing and new. We now are pleased to offer you the choice of five bedrooms each individually furnished and appointed in a style that will ensure your visit to us will be memorable. As with our original idea for the Restaurant, the furnishing of our rooms is our personal choice of all the things that we enjoy when staying in Hotels. We look forward to welcoming you. | Location Located in the heart of the Bedfordshire countryside, we are 10 minutes from Bedford and St Neots and 30 minutes from Cambridge. There are numerous activities and places of interest within a short distance of us. A unique Clay Target Complex, Golf Courses, horse Riding, Butterfly park, The River Ouse and various Historic Sites. |
| Cornfields Once a Village Inn, the main building dates back to the 17th century and still remains its original oak beams and Inglenook fireplace with bread oven. We have two dining rooms and a lounge with bar for pre or after dinner drinks. The larger of our dining rooms open on to a private enclosed garden which, weather permitting, may be used to enjoy a drink or coffee. Either of our dining rooms can be used for small private functions or conferences. |
| Rooms All rooms have King size beds, en suite Baths and Showers, Television and Radio alarm clocks, direct dial Telephones, Trouser press and Tea and Coffee making facilities. Each room is furnished in a different style and all have views over the open countryside. |
