| The Continental is a 14 bedroom hotel overlooking the sea at Dovercourt, only minutes from Harwich International port. All rooms are en suite and most have sea views busy with shopping activity. All rooms have telephones with built in modem sockets. All rooms have colour, teletext TV's, tea making facilities, hair dryers and some have radios. Our hotel is understood to be the best value in the area. Constantly changing, constantly being upgraded. Non smokers lounge. Modern originals. Excellence is our business. |
| Ours is an unpretentious, informal atmosphere, with fully licensed and well stocked bar. Brewery-conditioned and Real ales, premium lagers, wines, all spirits, liqueurs and soft drinks. Restaurant with food for all tastes cooked to order. We are open to non residents daily, from breakfast to supper. We have recently employed a highly trained excellent chef. We can still offer vegetarian food as the owners are both vegetarian. Please ask for separate menu. |
