| We warmly invite you to share with us the stunning views over the River Wye with Haddon Hall visible through the trees nestled on the opposite side of this beautiful valley. Together with the peace and quiet and the character we have tried to retain in this lovely old house, oak beams, stone mullioned windows. Also natural spring water on tap You will find us only ½ mile from the A6 Matlock to Bakewell Road, yet a million miles from the hustle and bustle of modern day living. Attractions in the area abound. Visit Chatsworth House & Park (3 miles); Haddon Hall, the location of the recently filed Jane Eyre; Eyam plague village; Bakewell, home of the delicious pudding. See the working flourmill on the river Wye at Cauldwell's Mill, and visit the newly opened Peak Village a shopping complex in Rowsley.  |
| Family Room Travel from there on the seam railway to Matlock with Peak Rail, then on to Gulliver's Kingdom and the Heights of Abraham in Matlock Bath.
