Combe Ridge is a large country house designed by Brownrigg and turner around 1926. It is set in its own 18 acres and situated in glorious countryside close to the village of Chiddingfold. But it is just five minutes by car to Witley train Station and the Portsmouth line to Woking and London Waterloo.London Heathrow and Gatwick airports are an hour or so away by car.

It is a family home with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. There is ample parking. Free range and organic ingredients are on offer for breakfast with plenty of homemade jams and marmalades.

Combe Ridge, Godalming, 10K

The towns of Haslemere, Petworth and Godalming are all within 10 to 20 minutes distance and offer shopping, cafes, restaurants, museums, antiques, boating on the river Wey, gardens to visit and of course the 17th century mansion Petworth House and Park. Great walks into the countryside and up on Blackdown. Further afield is Midhurst and Cowdry Park the home of Polo see www.cowdrypolo.co.uk Plus Goodwood Festival of Speed in July and the Goodwood Revival in September and horse racing.

Chiddingfold is a walk across the fields and here at the Crown Inn, the oldest pub in Surrey and the Swan Inn you can find a very high standard of cuisine.
