| A Tucked Away Gem... Often the best eateries are found in tucked away places, and the only clue is the number of cars filing the car park midweek in winter. This is certainly the case with Cockhaven Manor. It is well worth finding the village of Bishopsteignton on the map and tracking down the Inn, as it is everything a traditional pub should be, with its 16th century origins in the clear evidence. The warmth of log fires is matched by the wamrth of the welcome at this family-owned and run independent free-house. It has everything you would expect in terms of real ales and has an extensive wine list, but it is the quality of the food and value for money philosophy of the owners that ensures the full cark park. Food is the priority from a candelit dinner for two, to a wedding banquet for ninety. We look forward to welcoming you. | ![]() |
