    | Cleaver Cottage is a small bed & breakfast business in a rural location on the edge of the picturesque village of Appleshaw just 5 miles from both Andover and Tidworth and only a couple of miles from the A303, so a good stop-over if on your way to the West Country. We are centrally located for visiting historic places such as Salisbury and Winchester, both fine Cathedral cities, and just 20 minutes from Stonehenge and the charming town of Stockbridge. Thruxton racing circuit is also close by and we are within the Test Valley which is famous for its outstanding chalk stream fishing. The cottage dates back to the early eighteen hundreds and has a wealth of character including exposed beam. Accommodation The accommodation is a double/twin bedroom and a spacious family room, both with a colour television and tea/coffee making facilities and views over open countryside. There is a shower room next door to these bedrooms.We can offer equipment for a small child such as a travel cot and highchair. We can also offer to babysit for an extra charge. Breakfast Breakfast is served in our dining room which is within the oldest part of the house and has an open fireplace and many exposed beams. Breakfast is available between 7am - 8.30am (weekdays) and 7.30am - 9.30am (weekends) or by separate arrangement The home cooked breakfast includes eggs from our free range chickens and the choice is as follows: Tea/Coffee/Decaffinated Coffee Orange or Apple Juice Bacon Sausage Tomatoe Fried/Poached/Scrambled Egg Selection of Cereal White or Brown Toast
