Clan MacDuff Restaurant in Fort William
The dining room has quite outstanding views of the loch and hills beyond and with its large picture windows offers all diners a chance to savour the highland vista/splendour.
The non-smoking dining room offers breakfasts from 8am to 9.30am and dinner from 6.30pm to 8.00pm. The dinner menu offers fresh produce with Scottish Beef, Highland Lamb, Venison and Salmon being the base for the menu. We use our own recipes for soups, pastries and old fashioned puddings that are a great favourite with our many regular guests. There are always vegetarian options to choose and our chefs will be happy to cater for special diets if notified in advance.
Bar Suppers
These are served in the lounge bar and are popular with guests requiring a lighter, less formal meal. Bar suppers are served between 6.30 and 8.45 and offer items ranging from a freshly prepared sandwich to a full three course meal. Chef's specials vary nightly and steak nights at weekends are very popular.
Lounge Bar with loch view
The lounge bar is served by a well stocked bar giving a large selection of wine, spirits, beers and soft drinks. Its pride is a selection of fine Malt Whiskies from the four distinct areas of production; this includes Fort William's own 'Ben Nevis' gold medal winning malt.
The lounge bar is the central point of the hotel in the evening, especially before and after dinner, when friends and family gather to discuss the events of the day. You may want to partake in a MacDuff tradition of savouring your favourite malt while watching the sunset behind the hills on the far side of the loch and there is always the chance you might catch a glimpse of a porpoise or otter frolicking in the water.
