Welcome to Cherry Trees
which for the last ten years has been a four star silver award Bed and Breakfast , inviting guests to experience a high standard of care and service and where you will be made to feel that every aspect of your stay here is important. Although built in the 1950's when perhaps architecture was not at its most memorable, the inside of the house is full of character, colour and style.
In the cosy English Heritage green dining room you can enjoy not only a full English Breakfast but a "Choice Menu" offering an exciting and enticing selection of breakfast options to give your day a mouth watering start. Continental breakfast is also available including fresh fruits, cereals, a selection of breads, cold meats, and cheeses. Many of the ingredients are from locally grown or sourced produce.
Cherry Trees also has a lovely light, airy lounge where you can be served tea or other refreshments, or simply read and relax.

Cherry Trees has two double rooms, both light and airy, and with deliciously comfortable beds, and good quality white linen. The double bedded room has an en-suite shower room and is on the ground floor, whilst the other is a twin bedded room with a private bathroom.
Each room has the following facilities:

The Area
There is a bus service at the end of the road with a regular service to Portsmouth City Centre, the shops at Gunwharf Quays, and the Historic Dockyard which houses HMS Victory, The Mary Rose, and HMS Warrior. There is a wide choice of Restaurants, an eight screen Cinema and many historic Exhibitions of interest .
An excellent train service runs from Bedhampton or Havant Station both within walking distance of the house which will take you to Portsmouth, the Cathedral City of Chichester with its renowned Festival Theatre, or for a day trip to London in just ninety minutes.
Private off road parking.
There are restaurants and pubs within walking distance, and for the more adventurous, the pretty harbour town of Emsworth is four miles away and has many good eateries.
Cherry Trees is only a few minutes from the sea. For bird lovers, there is a wonderful Sanctuary on the foreshore to walk around and enjoy the wide variety of bird life.
The South Downs are a short drive away with glorious walks to inspire those who like to get out in the fresh air and countryside, or for the more energetic, why not take part in the South Downs Run, or enjoy a cycling holiday in the area.
The popularity of Hayling Island as a major water sport venue has increased dramatically in the last two years, last year hosting the International Laser Championships.
Goodwood Racecourse and Goodwood Motor Circuit are twelve miles away and celebrate the five day Glorious Goodwood Race Meeting, The Festival of Speed, and The Goodwood Revival every year bringing thousands of enthusiasts to the area.
