The Charleston Guesthouse is situated just minutes from the north beach with its lovely views of Sewerby and Danes Dyke cliffs. A few minutes up the road is leisure world with a wave pool, water slides and sauna and a little bit further is the town centre, harbour and spa and if you are feeling energetic take a walk into the old town to browse around the antique shops. Also close by are various pubs, clubs and restaurants. There are several golf courses and a riding centre on the outskirts of town. Also nearby are stately homes and gardens to visit, explore the cliffs and coves of Flamborough or have a day at the races in historic Beverley. From the harbour you can sail on a pirate ship, speedboat, go on a fishing trip or take a cruise along the heritage coast and the land train also operates in season. |
