Chandler Cottage is an 18th Century fisherman's cottage on the River Exe . There are two double bedrooms (master en-suite) the 3rd bedroom has bunk-beds for well behaved children/teenagers.

The River Exe and Surrounding Area
One of Englands most beautiful estuaries and there is a wildlife sanctuary nearby. Walk alongside the Exe and the Exeter Ship Canal (the oldest in the UK) and then along the towpath to an isolated country pub for a pint and a pasty. You will pass a Deer-Park. climb stiles, overlook farmland and see many migrating birds.
Starcross Pier is just a few hundred yards away and one can join wild-life watching river trips or catch the Ferry to Exmouth where fishing expeditions out to sea can be booked.
Day trips can be organised to travel by Steam Train and Riverboat up and down the River Dart from Totnes to historic Dartmouth.
Or just go beach combing on Dawlish Warren.
Visitors love the scenic beauty of Dartmoor and Exmoor with must see places like Fingle Bridge, Postbridge and Dartmeet. There are wild ponies to see and fascinating villages like Widecombe, Chagford and Lustleigh. Keen gardeners can cross the border into Cornwall and visit The Eden Project.
