| The farm is located in a peaceful secluded valley just a mile from Kingsbridge - the centre of the South Hams of South Devon. Centry offers very comfortable accommodation which is thoroughly cleaned before your arrival. The farm is a third of a mile off the main road and very quiet. You may be disturbed by the owls at night or the birds singing in the mornings! There are lovely views across the gardens to the fields beyond. Garden furniture, patio and ample car and boat parking. Regret no smoking or pets. Sorry we are unable to take credit cards - payment to be made by cheque or cash. Self Catering Cottage The self catering cottage is attached to the farmhouse which is ideal for two or a family of four. The cottage is very well equipped including cooker, microwave, refrigerator, iron, washer/dryer, colour television, video, DVD, CD/radio cassette, hairdryer.
There is one bedroom with a double and two single beds - duvets, bed linen and towels are supplied. The bathroom has bath with shower over, wash basin with vanity unit and W.C Heated towel rail. Upstairs there is a large living room with kitchen area which has a full range of utensils as well as tea towels and cleaning materials. Electricity is by a £1 meter. Guests are invited to arrive after 3pm and are asked to vacate by 10am on day of departure. Bed and Breakfast Bed and breakfast accommodation is available in the farmhouse in double en suite rooms. Both bedrooms have king size beds, a colour television, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, radio alarm clock, electric blanket.
There is a comfortable lounge with books, leaflets and maps of the area, and a separate dining room where your delicious breakfast will be served. A refrigerator is available for guests use and door keys are provided giving access at all times. Things to Do Our area is well know for its beautiful scenery, beaches, cliff and moorland walks and many places of interest. Golfing, fishing, riding, sailing are all possible along with many other activities, including swimming and more at the Quayside Leisure Centre in Kingsbridge. Drives to Exeter, Plymouth, Torquay, the wilds of Dartmoor and even far into Cornwall are perfectly feasible and our local towns of Kingsbridge, Salcombe, Totnes and Dartmouth plus our many Beaches are only 5-12 miles distant. The South Devon Coast Path is also a great attraction as are many lanes and footpaths. Nearest shops, supermarket, banks, garages, pubs and churches are at Kingsbridge. There is a local market every Tuesday and Thursday on the Town square. Many excellent village pubs 2-4 miles away serving good food. How to get to Centry From Totnes: Take the A381 for Kingsbridge, 10 miles on ignore right turn for Kingsbridge at Stumpy post cross and continue straight on following the sign for Ledstone. Do not go into Ledstone, continue on the road and take the third turning on the left. White wrought iron sign on the hedge saying 'Centry'. From Plymouth: Take the A379 as if for Kingsbridge, approximately 17 miles on and through the village of Churchstow, branch left on to A381 as for Totnes, when you go to A381 as for Totnes, when you get to Sorley Cross go straight across and when you get to Stumpy Post roundabout follow the sign for Ledstone. Do not go to Ledstone, take the third turning on your left. White wrought iron sign on the hedge saying 'Centry'. |
