Catherine House is our family home, from which we offer a warm friendly welcome. Beautiful rooms and full traditional English Breakfast, or special requests where possible. We also have off the road parking.
We are situated five minutes walk from the historic market town of Beccles with views over the Waveney Valley. Beccles is sited on the River Waveney where riverboats may be hired. Beccles is convenient for exploring both Norfolk and the Broads. The coastal resorts of Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft are a short driving distance as is the fine University City of Norwich, with its castle/museum, cathedral, theatre, market and new underground shopping mall. Suffolk has a heritage coastline of outstanding natural beauty, and local RSPB Bird Sanctuary at Minsmere is only 15 miles away. We are also situated on the Angles Way walkers route. |
| Accommodation We areregistered English Tourist Board four stars. All rooms have central heating, colour television, dvd facilities and radio alarm, wash hand basin, tea and coffee making, hair dryer. Rooms are all decorated to a high standard with Antique Pine furniture. One room has a Four Poster Double Bed and private shower room. Two rooms have en-suite facilities and wonderful views over the Waveney Valley. We have a guest lounge and breakfast room furnished elegantly in dark oak. |
