Castlecroft is enviably situated with unrivalled views in three directions. There are public paths all aroud us, and one path that goes right from the side gate of our house right into the centre of Stirling, with the castle and woods on one side and the King's Knot and green fields on the other. There is no traffic noise here, just beautiful birdsong and often an owl hooting at night. The gardens have many visitors, such as rabbits, squirels, hedgehogs and birds of all types.
We have five lovely bedrooms, decorated to a modern standard, all with ensuites (three of which have just been completely refurbished). Two of the rooms open out onto a lovely patio area. Facilities include free internet access, free wifi for your laptops, tv and hairdryers in all rooms, tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms, complimentary tea and coffee in the lounge. We have a large, beautiful guest lounge, with cozy seating areas, and a beautiful marble fireplace and we always a lovely fire going in the colder evenings.
We have an excellent choice at breakfast, including a high quality sliced haggis. All our produce is from local farms and we make our own bread.
