| The Carolina Guest House is a family run guest house with a warm and friendly environment that has been offering comfortable and well-appointed accommodation for over 10 years. We provide high quality bed and breakfast, and self catering accommodation in Cambridge, one of the most beautiful and picturesque cities in Great Britain. This is due to its own combination of historic buildings and famous University Colleges. Carolina is a perfect base for those who wish to visit this lovely city and its surrounding towns and villages; for those in Cambridge for business or for visiting the world famous Addenbrooke's hospital. The easy access from/to the M11 (junction 11) and A14 also makes Carolina a good base for those flying from/to Stansted Airport and for those working at the Science Park or Business Park. Carolina is just a 30 minutes walk from the city centre and is also within walking distance of the new "Grand Arcade" shopping centre, from the Grafton Centre, Addenbrooke's Hospital, Marshall's Airport, bus and railway station. All these locations can also be easily reached by bus. The bus stop is only a few metres away from the Carolina Guest House and buses run every 10 minutes. Cambridge is a unique city! All of these are individually decorated and furnished in a contemporary style to a high standard, offering comfort and a relaxed homely environment. We offer a buffet Continental breakfast or a freshly cooked Full English breakfast. We serve breakfast Monday to Friday from 07.30 to 09.00, week ends from 08.00 to 09.00 Earlier times can be arranged on arrival. For guest who need to leave in the very early hours of the morning the buffet continental breakfast will be available, if required. We can cater for people with special needs e.g. vegetarian, gluten free, etc. (by prior arrangement).
